Living in a new country, Joyce, a young Filipino nanny, has a deep desire and passion for rap music – regularly dreaming of being a successful rapper. However, her extreme shyness prevents her from being able to perform in front of others. Already faced with the challenges of adjusting to a new country, things become harder for her when news from her homeland reveal that her father has had a heart attack, requiring unaffordable medicine. Feeling helpless and lost, Joyce’s only escape is through her lyrics.
