In a rural area in Mindanao, a deaf-mute boy witnesses the mysterious drowning of twins in a river. As his brother helps him overcome the trauma induced by the event, the harsh truth rises from the waters.
Gabriel Carmelo is a Filipino filmmaker, screenwriter, and playwright from Koronadal City, South Cotabato. He is a founding member of Diverse Film Productions, which was founded in 2018. As a screenwriter, he has written regional and national award-winning short films. In 2020, he established Caps Lock Films, where he showcases his own distinct voice as a Mindanaoan filmmaker and storyteller. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of Santo Tomas.
