Nene is in her eighties, an accomplished and retired painter. Her daughter travels from the city to see her with her grandson, and unknown to her family Nene attempts to finish the final painting of her lifetime.
Originally from the Philippines, King Louie moved to Canada to initially study a course in Human Biology. During the first year, he began to pursue another calling, which led to a change of direction and a Diploma in Film Production, specializing in Producing and Post Production from the Vancouver Film School. He successfully graduated in October 2014. With only a few years in the film business, he has produced over ten short films. You can find King Louie working and honing his craft at the west coast studio of FuseFX. His narrative short film, Nene, is his directorial debut.
